In regards to diabetes books, I do not know any. BUt there are plenty of online resources for diabetes foot health. Take a look at diabetic shoes hub and footsmart for one.

I would also recommend speaking to your local podiatrist or pedorthist. I have problem diabetic feet and it is no joke.

I am a diabetic patient, i know it is hard to control blood sugar level. But a healthy lifestyle and consuming right foods will definitely help you to under control diabetes.

Rule of Thumb Every Diabetic Patient Should Follow
    • Never barefoot
    • Always have something covering toes to prevent injuries
    • Make sure shoes fit well (no rubbing, look carefully for signs of blisters when wearing new shoes)
    • Always make sure feet are as dry as possible. If I am out for a long day and really sweaty, I would change my socks at some point.
    • Wash feet at the end the day. Put lotion on to avoid cracking.
