I had surgery on the back of my right heel 3 weeks ago to remove a Haglund's Deformity. I'm currently in a boot and able to walk in it, but I'm experiencing numbness on the back of my heel. Is this normal?

Yes, this is very normal. I am at week 7 of my recovery, sounds similar to yours in that I was put in a cam walker. Numbness is very normal after incisions...it will go away, mine is almost gone. I recommend after you get your stitches out massaging the scar are area around it...it may be SUPER sensitive but it helps heal and reduce the sensitivity! I am back running already....i did not have my achilles detatched. Good luck!
