Replacing custom orthotics w/o podiatrist?

    Hello,

My prior insurance covered podiatry visits and orthotics. I had casts and custom orthotics made through a podiatrist's office and they have dramatically reduced pain due to my overpronating feet . Unfortunately, I can no longer see that Doctor. My current insurer only covers orthotics for diabetes sufferers. Fortunately, I don't have that problem.

But, after a couple of years, my orthotics are worn out. I still have the casts. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find an orthotic provider who will work with the public.

I am looking for recommendations on how to proceed - especially referrals to companies that would supply me directly.

I live in the Los Angeles, California area.

    Thank you,

    NivaR
