hi, I'm new here, but have a quick question & would appreciate your comments.
I had surgery 5 days ago to remove an exostosis ( non-cancerous bone growth) It was located on my right upper fibula, during the surgery the peroneal nerve was stretched a lot. Since the surgery my range of motion has been good, close to 100% and pain has been moderate. Though it is totally numb at the incision site. My question is this, starting yesterday I kept feeling a wet sensation on my lower leg which later on turned to a cool sensation. Today it has gotten worse,it feels like my foot and ankle are freezing but the skin is only slightly cool to the touch, not abnormally cold. Is this only neuropathy or is it something to be concerned about. Should I contact my Doctor? Has anyone else had any kind of experience with this kind of thing?

If there are actual temperature changes in your foot they should be check out. But even if it is "only" a neuropathy, productive treating of it may be time sensitive. So, certainly you should bring to your doctor's attention THIS and ALL problems related or possibly related to your surgery.
