My daughter, now 7 years old, has always had upturned toenails. No one else in the family has these. They are not painful and do not affect her walking, but look unusual. Can you tell me what may have caused this?

Have her seen by a dermatologist to determine if there is a diagnosable underlying cause and possible treatment.
