Ingrown toenail.

    Okay so I had an infected ingrown toenail for a little more than a year and about a month ago I got it removed at last. But I've noticed that the inflammation around my toe hasn't gone away I mean it doesn't hurt but it worries me. It's still also red. I'm afraid that if I the inflammation doesn't go away it will get ingrown again. Can someone tell me why it's still red and inflamated ? PLEASE I'm desperate !
