pain at the side of foot when pressure applied to the heel

    i recently been experiencing a really sharp pain (breath-taking) up the side of my right foot when i walk and apply pressure to the heel. I have not been doing any strenuous exercise and there is no bruising or swelling.
    i had a hairline fracture about 5 years ago can it be back under stress?
