I just had surgery to remove a corn that infected my toe. I am running my 26th Boston marathon in 6 wks. & want to recover asap. Am resting w/foot up, taking antibiotic, eat healthy foods (am a Personal Trainer).Any special hints to get me up and running quicker. Thanks.

Unless you want to take a real chance of permanent problems with the toe, I would recommend forgetting the marathon even if you think you can do it. What might be done might possibly be difficult or impossible to undue. I would generally recommend to my patients that they wait several months before returning to such abusive activity.
