Three days ago the back of my heel began to hurt. the first day the pain was mild to moderate, yesterday it was moderate, but today i have had to start walking on the ball of my foot because the pain is pretty unbearable. It is posterior heel pain and only hurts when i move my foot around or put any pressure on it. I wear high heels, and speed walk quite a bit, but i can't remember ever having any heel pain like this before. I am 39 and the mother of six children and cannot afford to be out of commision. I am wondering if this might go away or do i need to see a podiatrist.
