    :(
For around 5 years now when I stand on both the soles of my feet for say anymore than 3-5 minutes my feet feel bruised only on the heels, and I can’t stand standing for long at all.
I can walk say for 15 minutes and not to bad but then as soon as I stand they hurt and the longer I stand the more sorer they become.
I get by my day now but mostly sitting around and not standing for long, gone are the days I can stand watching something unless I want to be in pain.
I feel very agitated at times and angry with the world I also feel sad and fed up but not always.
I fell as though my foot problems gives me a great deal of stress and depression and does make me feel unhappy.

When I used to take anti depressants when I was in my 20s I never had any pain in my feet though sometime after I stopped taking them I developed the pain in my feet, could this be the problem?
I do feel tense and angry and over defensive sometimes but on the other hand can be very friendly and polite.

    So far I have tried:
Injections on two occasions on both feet
    X-Rays (Ok)
    Stretches
    Plenty of rest
    Ice packs and warm packs
    Acupuncture
    Custom made orthotics
Special running trainers assisted by a specialist running shop in Glasgow
    What I want to try:
    Anti-depressants Seroxat or Flexeril
    MRI Scan
    :(

I believe it is due to deficiency of vitamins. Why don't to try B-complex it may relief you from feet burning at least to some extent.Take care,,

Try adding gel insoles along with your orthotics. It could be, like some of us, you don't have as much of the fat pad in the bottoms of your feet any more. Standing is the worst part.

Sorry to hear. A friend of mine has a similar condition that is related to eczema. Have any doctors suggested eczema as a cause for the soreness?

I see this thread is kind of old, but I have the exact same issue.. I've had the problem for three years now and have pretty much given up hope of finding a viable solution. I've been to six doctors, including podiatrists, orthopaedic surgeons, and the University of Michigan pain center. No one has a clue what the problem is. Several docs have had theories, but none that are at all conclusive or backed by any evidence (every test showed my feet were perfectly normal). Ideas have included plantar fasciitis, not enough fat pad, too long foot bones, tendons being too tight, and more. So far, I've had/tried the following:

    X-rays (multiple)
    CT
    MRI
    EMG
Blood tests looking for arthritis or rare conditions
    Physical therapy
    Chiropractor
    Deep tissue massage
    Plantar fasciitis foot splints
    Cortisone injections
    Solu-medrol
    Gabapentin
    Anti-inflammatories (Naproxyn, Motrin)
    Custom orthotics (multiple)
    Different shoes (many)
    Cymbalta
    Nortriptyline
    Effexor

The anti-depressants helped me (to an extent), but the side effects I experienced from them were overwhelming. I recommend trying these, though. Maybe you'll have better luck with the side effects.

Also, shoes make a big difference. I've had the best luck with running shoes (NOT walking shoes) with extremely soft rubber. I prefer Saucony Truimphs. My feet still kill me all day every day, but they would be worse with other shoes.

Hi , the only thing i found that relieves the pain is adidas adisage sandals with rubber spikes shaped in the form of the sole of the foot ! First firm that puts these into shoes will help foot pain sufferers dramatically !!!!
