When I do any form of aerobic excercise my feet start to burn and have excruciating pain that will bring tears to my eyes. The pain is symmetrical. It starts on the outer side and along the bottom and then radiates up through my ankles. When I walk for excercise I do not have this problem. I do have other medical issues with fibromyalsia (numbness, tingling, needle sticks, joint and muscle pain)

Now I realize that there is an almost cult-like following regarding the clinging to a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, and any questioning of such often leads to effusive condemnation by its proponents, but, along with many doctors, I am often skeptical of those who assert that they have been diagnosed with such a condition, which, if it truly exists, is said to have as a consistently definable feature extreme fatigue. Although I am certainly far less than an expert on said condition, I would find it less than credible that anyone claiming to suffer from this said-to-be fatiguing condition would be a regular advocate of aerobic exercise, the proponents of which are often rather compulsive regarding its practice. Often essential to a good diagnosic process is the discounting of information which does not seem to fit. Thems be my opinions, and that, ostensibly, is what you asked for. Reasons for burning of the feet are many and varied, and will require a more in-depth analysis than can be provide here.
