I have a small roundish area on my foot, it looks like it is eaten away or something, also there is a small amount on the bottom of my toes, it is white, in comparison to my tanned foot. When I get out of bed it is dry and hard and extremely painful. I haven't gone to a doctor yet, as I don't have one. I am a 19 year old male and i have had this for over 2 years. I think it may also be the cause of my extremely smelly feet. I have it on both feet in nearly exactly same spots. It is fairly smooth when dry but when it is soaked in water it expands and it reminds me of coral in the ocean, full of tiny pockmarks. I am an athlete so i do a lot of running, hiking, biking etc, so i always have my shoes tied tight, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. Would a picture help? Thanks a lot, i really want to get it cleared up because it is disgusting and makes my feet smell.

I highly doubt that any such small lesion on the foot would be the source of offensive foot odor, a condition which is almost exclusively caused by bacterial action on excessively sweaty feet. What you describe may be a common plantar wart, but only a trip to a doctor can either confirm or rule this out. It is important that any growths be positively identified. Do not attempt any self-treatment until a real diagnosis is established.
