    Hi,

I broke my 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsals whilst playing football towards the end of September. Two of the breaks were intra-articular fractures and the other was a slight hairline fracture. I was in a back slab cast for a week and then a non-weight bearing cast for 4 weeks. Had the cast off around the 30th of October and I'm still feeling a slight pain in my foot and I'm limping a bit. I was just wondering how long this will take to go away.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

Surely your own doctor would be the best source of an estimate. My concern would be for the long-term prognoses of the intra-articular fractures, as they are often prone to result in poor joint function and traumatic arthritis.
