sharp pain

    Whilst just sitting relaxing I had a suden sharp pain as if I had been prodded with a needle
    on sole of foot just lower than second toe. Pain disappeared as quickly as it came but happened three times again in the night. Felt like I has stood on glass or something but nothin to be seen on examination. Foot not painful between attacks. Any ideas?
