I have a 13 year old that I believe has this he has heel pain but also anterior ankle pain with no history of sprain, I see anterior ankle pain is not common in this, what would be recommended for taping. No swellling also.

Diagnosis always comes before treatment. Find out what the anterior ankle pain is before determining what if any treatment is needed. Severe's disease is generally treated with rest, a heel pad in the shoe, avoiding flat shoes, orthotics and sometimes casting. But this too requires a diagnosis before appropriate treatment recommendations can be made.
