My husband has on and off again numbness in his feet and toes. He sometimes has foot cramps. His feet are very sensitive to touch when his feet feel numb. Is there anything that he can do himself that can relieve and improve this?

As the condition is on and off, it suggests that some change takes place either within or outside of the body which causes these symptoms to occur. Therefore, if whatever causes it can be identified, it might lend some sort of answer to your question as to what can be done to improve the problem. A neurologist would likely be the most appropriate specialist to determine this.
