I had surgery on my left foot due to pain with flat feet. There were screws and a plate put in my foot and my tendon was strengthened. My foot now roll inward,I have limited range of motion, pain in the ankle area of my foot. Now the dr suggest removal of the screws. The x ray showed a broken screw that he plans to leave but remove the others. My question is will it relieve my pain? Its been 10 months since my surgery I've tried different medications with no relief. He says I will be able to walk post op in a cam boot in shoes in 2weeks. What the prognosis?

I have no clue as to what surgery you had undergone or why you are currently experiencing pain. Therefore any suggestion as to what your prognosis might be could not possibly be founded upon anything but unverifiable speculation. If you have questions about your status and what might be done to improve it, and you are not satisfied with your doctor's answers, then seek a second opinion from another well-vetted specialist.

I had an extra bone removed from my arch it caused me pain I have flat feet so he put a plate in and I had a bone transplant from a cadaver inserted to make a arch. He tightend the tendon to pull my foot more inward. My pain is now on the outside of my foot on the ankle area there are screws on the outside of my foot my question is if I remove the screws will it relieve my pain around my ankle if the screws are removed

I have no idea of what sort of surgery you are describing or why you would have one bone remove and a cadaver bone inserted. Why not direct your question to the doctor who performed your surgery, knows what was done and perhaps has some idea as to why you now have pain?
