Pain, Possible Bruising in crease of big toe

Hi there.

For the last day or so I've been having intense pain in the crease of my big toe where it meets the ball of my foot. There is a small tear in the skin and even some slight what appears to be bruising. It hurts to put weight on it and even when it's not bearing weight it still hurts quite a bit, almost a throbbing pain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post a picture of it would help.
