split toes under the join. what is the cause?

Default split toes under the join. what is the cause?

im not sure if this ia a fungle infection or tinea as i have had quite dry skin

pls help

where does it hurt :
my little toe and second from last. they have split underneath. i think the skin had joined together and now has split. this happened when i was surfing and hurts each time i am in water

how long has it hurt for:
a week


how bad is the pain:
its a little painful to walk but gets worse in water

what where you doing when it started:
surfing

what have you done for it so far:
tried to keep it moisturised

My Grand child has had theses split open toes since she was a tiny baby not even walking yet...I noticed they are still there and I was concerned
