5 yrs post op still in pain

I am a 47 year old female that had my neuroma's removed 5years ago on both feet at the same time. The pain was marginally better for 6 months and has never really been resolved. I have worn orthotics since the operation, have seen numerous doctors gone through foot rehabilitation etc, all for NAUGHT. Is there any relief for me? This condition is getting worse

There are a number of possibilities, among which includes the possibility that you did not have a neuroma to start with, or the surgery did not successfully remove it, or the cutting of the nerve resulted in a stump neuroma or the proximal segment of the severed nerve became entrapped in the scar tissue from the surgery. Can you get a hold of the pathology report and see what was said about the tissue removed at surgery? You mention rehab under the direction of several doctors, but you fail to indicate what that entailed . . Can you? As with most medical problems, an accurate diagnosis is essential for the formulation of a successful treatment plan. So, without knowing precisely what your problem might be, it is impossible for me or anyone else to respond meaningfully to your question, "Is there any relief for me?"
