Depends on what you are after. ?? i.e. do you or a family member have a charcot's foot, are you simply after more info, are you a health practitioner and have a client with diagnosed or suspected charcots etc??
I would suggest contacting the major Brisbane hospitals with existing teams/units of specialized health practitioners such as podiatrists, orthotists, endocrinologists, vascular surgeons etc who have protocols in place to diagnose and treat charcots. You may also find some community practitioners (podiatrists , orthotisits , wound management nurses) who also have experience in this area)
Failing that try contacting the Queensland Wound Management Association (
http://www.awma.com.au/state/qld.php ) could point you in the right direction. There is most likely reliable contacts to be found on Qld state podiatry association websites as well. Look for those people who have experience and function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
