What qualifications are required to become a podiatry assistant? I am a career changer who took two semesters of biology and chemistry in college.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Unless there is a State which requires some form of certification, as far as I am aware, there are no specifically defined educational requirements for a doctor's assistant, no matter the specialty. The main requirements, in my view, would be intelligence, the ability to learn and be trained and reliability. There are however, in most locales, trade-type schools which teach general medical assisting, and you might check with them, at least for curriculum advice.
