Question 1 cold foot 1 warm foot?

Anybody aware of any situations where you can have 1 normal warm foot and one cold one?

I've always thought that both of my feet were cold, but since wearing anti-embolism stockings post operatively, I have realised that it is just my right foot that is cold. My toenails are the same colour on both feet, but my right foot is considerably colder from my ankle to my toes.

It may be important to add that I have had 4 operations on my left foot and one on my right for mortons neuromas. That may be important or mabe not, but I thought it's best to say just in case.

Any ideas why?

Thanks in advance

A cold foot, if it is cold to the touch, especially if the other one is of normal temperature is generally an indication of insufficient circulation to the cold foot. See a vascular specialist.

I too have ONE cold foot and the other is normal. I mean that the cold one is very cold to touch; even when I don't think it's cold... it is. It is always my right foot and it doesn't matter if it is summer or winter. I had my circulation checked with some sort of ultrasound and they found no circulation problem.

Could this have something to do with MS? I too have 1 cold foot from the ankle down. I am presently undergoing tests for MS.

I have this too; in winter my left foot is so cold it hurts. Mostly at night. Even with multiple socks. This has persisted for years. I mentioned to my doctor and I also had the circulation tests (not that). Have always been a consistent exerciser. Sometimes, it will magically disappear for an hour or so. When I go to bed, I wrap the cold foot in a very hot electric heating pad. After a while the cold foot returns to normal. I have no clue about it just that it is a nuisance and I also have intense restless leg syndrome. Both conditions worse in winter.

These sound like circulatory problems or blood clots. Sometimes an ultrasound won't show the problem, especially if you have a clot below the knee; there are other more accurate tests.

It must due to the improper blood circulation which is causing foot to become cold. Also its because of you already few operations for Morton neuromas. Do some exercises and massages for good results.
