Default should I continue to use orthotics after the pain has gone

Hi,

I just had a mild case of plantar fasciitis which seems to have cleared up with a couple of weeks of wearing orthotics.

It seems it was caused by one specific pair of shoes but I have been wearing the orthotics in all my shoes.

The question is, should I continue using them in all shoes as a precaution, or just in the problem ones?

Tim

The only connection with shoe selection and plantar fasciitis is that those who tend to develop this condition should avoid shoes without a reasonable heel rise, as when the foot is place in even slight plantar flexion, it tends to lessen tension on the plantar fascia.
