Hammer toes

I have MS. I have hammer toes on both feet. I see a Feldenkrais practitioner and he said I should find out if the flexors or extensors are involved.

The extensor tendon is almost always involved, but depending on the type of hammertoe, the flexor tendon may also be involved.

Corns are on the top and sometimes the distal aspect of hammertoes, not under the foot. Are you talking perhaps about a seed corn or maybe a callous?
