Question doctoring since sept. w/no relief

hello. i'm 30y/o, female, work on my feet for 45-50 hr's a week. I am active in regular workouts, hikes, and play softball. Last september i was running to the outfield and hit the grass lip (about a 2 inch lip where the grass meets the agri-lime) with my toes up and my heel lower, and there was a pop in the bottom of my foot. the pain was on the heel? not really as it radiated and hurt more closer to the arch and towards the inside of the foot. (right foot, inside referring to the left side under arch) i was diagnosed with a heel spur and plantar faschitis and the pop was from chipping the bone spur. i had never had heel pain before. i've worn a walking boot off and on, physical therapy, strectches, massages, rolling on the tennis ball and frozen bottle, and ultrasound treatment with some relief but never going away.

in april softball practice was starting so i had a cortisone shot in my heel so i could play ball. the whole foot swelled up and i was on crutches for two days, but the pain went away after a week. the first practice, i went to take off running and something popped in the center of my arch. i took my shoe off and there was a "ball" in the center of my foot. was told that i tore the plantar fascia. he said it's not completely ruptured but he's not giving me any options other than wearing this boot, wich seems to make it worse! what am i doing wrong? what should I do now? i want to play ball! Please any thoughts are welcome! i'll try about anything at this point! thank you

It is certainly possible that you injured the plantar fascia, and what needs to be done depends on how badly it was injured, if, in fact, it was injured. Was it a doctor who told you that you tore the planter fascia or just someone who said that? In any case, it is certainly time that you seek professional help if you have not already, It would be both inappropriate, irresponsible and possibly dangerous to offer a diagnosis and especially treatment advice here without examination and only the facts offered, but certainly you should not be playing softball until you find out what is wrong and what needs to be done for it. It really concerns me though that you would say "you'll try ANYTHING," as THAT can be a recipe for disaster. Get yourself some knowledgeable treatment.
