I'm 18 years old and my fourth toe on both feet overlap the fifth toe. I'm thinking of having surgery to correct this problem. Anyone know if there is a cast post surgery?

I don't know what specific procedure is intended, but I would be surprised if a cast were to be employed. Why, though, are you not asking this of the doctor who will perform the procedure and should have given you a through description of what was intended? So many problems and disappointment could be prevented if patients would demand to be told all the essential details (as actually the law requires) before they allow someone to come at them with a knife. You would probably have asked more detailed questions of your mechanic if your car were not running properly . . . NO?
