I run 6 - 8 miles 7 days per week, and for the last few days, I have been experiencing pain on the side of my foot just before/at the base of the little toe. It hurts if I press my finger on the area, and it hurts when I run and less so when I walk. The pain is felt specifically on the side of the foot. Could this be caused by wearing running shoes that are too tight? I wear different shoes than those I run in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.....
