Toe Nail removed 9 months ago

I had my big toe nail on my right foot removed totally 9 months ago after both sides were ingrown and kept infecting they used some form of acid that was suppost to stop the nail growing back. It healed quite well and did not grow back.. For the last month i have had three or four boils on where the nail was that have had pus and i can feel something hard where the nail was at the top.. i dont know if the nail is trying to come back i cant see any nail only feel a hard line at the top.

I havent seen anyone about this yet but its starting to drive me crazy
