Default Orthopedist or Podiatrist????

I was diagnosed by 2 different orthopedists with 2 different diagnoses. One said I had a Jones fracture and the other said I had an avulsion fracture. I know treatment of these 2 are completely different. Now I'm at a total loss. Is it better for a podiatrist to look at the x-ray and diagnose it? I understand it can be difficult to differentiate the 2. I'm very frustrated right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
