I guess I'm just here to complain.

In the last year and a half I have had so many problems with my feet and knee(s).
I had surgery for plantar faciaitis in September of 2007 and then a morton's neuroma removed from the bottom of my left foot April of this year. I have had kind of an electric shock kind of pain when I massage the incision area (I always get bad scar tissue) and it shoots up to my toes. I am going in tomorrow for a check up on that and may get a shot in the foot (he said it may "calm it down.")

Then all of a sudden--and it seemed to appear overnight...I have a bunion on my left foot--the same foot that had just been operated on a few months ago.

I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow....I'm glad I don't have to wait any longer.

Before my MN was removed, I walked with my toes kind of curled uder a little bit, I guess my body was trying to keep some weight off of the neuroma. Then AFTER the surgery I was still doing the same thing because of the after-surgery pain. I wonder if all that has anything to do with the bunion? I have been walking strangely on this foot for a couple of years now.
The buinion is small--must have just started, but it scares the life out of me!!

I have no idea as to whether what you're calling a bunion is actually a bunion, or if it is, what type. At any rate, bunions do not appear "overnight," but are slowly developing deformities. See your podiatrist for a diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Well, it probably didn't literally come overnight. I just noticed it all of a sudden.

One would have to think that someone inflicted with so many foot problems as you assert would be particularly cognizant of every nuance in the foot and would not be blind-sided by lack of or delayed notice.
