Pain in Ball of foot

    I broke my fifth metatarsal in March of this year. I had surgery with a plate and six screws. I through out this year had felt like I had healed and was walking with little pain or no pain. I have developed pain in the ball of that foot which has made it difficult to walk. I am wondering if others have experienced this? I am also using accupunture in my recovery. thoughts or comments? I have read about pain in the ball of my foot and am wondering if I should go back to my surgeon. Thanks for any input.
