Top left foot pain and swelling

    I have pain and swelling on the TOP of my left foot. Doe's anyone know what could be causing this?
    I appreciate any feedback.

    Many things can cause unilateral edema of one foot. Common issues could be some form of injury to the foot, fractures of foot bones, insect bites, lymphedema, Cellulitis, Gout, venous insufficiency and many more. Without a detailed history and examination, asking for reasons would be equivalent of wild guesses.
