So in other words, you can not provide any single clinical trial reference to support what you claim.

You are confused between what the in-vitro and in-vivo and uncontrolled studies are showing (as are the writers on those site) .... as for a health professional getting info from Wikipedia !@#$%^&*(

I think your competence as a nurse needs to be questioned if you use the above sites to base your practice on.

I do not know of a single wound care specialist nurse that comes close to using TTO on wounds, and as you claim above you have done than, then that falls well short of a minimum standard of care.

I do not feel that you are qualified to assess my levels of competence Thank you!I also feel that your tone is somewhat acid.

I provided the link as the trials I researched were documented at the time bacck in 2000..
Plus if you readback I have used the product 100% teatree Oil on myselfto a surgical wound when bathing which incidently healed within a 2 week period post Suture removal from a Hystrectomy WOUND which I removed myself NO PUS or inflamation.

Any patient care that was given/ exchanged was within Care Standards and the NMC Code of Conduct, and authorised by Management.

Selfcare in regard to Complimentary Therapies is always encouraged within Selfcare for any patient and hygiene.
Teatree Oil is used in many areas of Nursing and has a Good place as part of aceptic value in regard to Bacterial,Fungal,Viral Infections

Your Website is not a friendly one... Sad inflated ego from Admin.

You have not provided a single link to any controlled clinical trials that actually shows TTO is better than a placebo. All you have linked to is propaganda. A qualified and competent nurse should not better. You obviously don't.

I ask again: PLEASE show us the link to just one controlled clinical trial that shows TTO actually works and is better than a placebo.

The bulk of that review is in vitro!
The clinical efficacy part starts of fwith:
If you look at the later studies they reviewed, notice that all the foot related ones showed it did not work? You just confirmed exactly what I am saying!

Soak your feet in 100% Teatree Oil 3/4 drops use a carrier for the water like Almond carrier and soak your feet ..Teatree oil is an anti fungal and will get rid of any itching which can be caused by sweaty danky trainers like Athlete's foot.
I have used TTO for years and researched the aromatherapy oil in practice. RN

plain and simple - pre-diabetic/diabetic. Your blood sugar may look normal in tests but you are having episodes of really high blood sugar. That causes thicker blood and the lack of flow causes the heels to crack. I had cracked heels from age 25 to age 55. No doctor ever could solve it. In 2006 at age 55 a blood sugar meter test after two small potatoes showed my blood sugar was over 500 - life threatening even though my A1C and fasting tests were normal. I cut sugar and starches way out of my diet, got my blood sugar under control, and my cracked heels never occurred again in the last 12 years. Wish my doctors had warned me because the long term health effects of 30 years with high blood sugar are still with me. So go get an inexpensive blood sugar meter and start testing 2 hours after eating a meal. If it is much over 120 you should be concerned and do something about it.

It’s a very unpleasant problem. I heard that such desease may be caused by the lack of vitamin E (together with problems listed in author's post). I also very much agree with the statement that It’s better to find a reason of disease in opposite of blindly fighting the symptoms. So I think it’s better to consult dermatologist about skin issues.
