My main chronic problems: LEFT FOOT

    1. Metatarsalgia
    2. Bunion
    3. Achilles tendonitis
    4. Fallen transverse arch
    5. Flat feet(left and right)
    6. Left leg longer than the other

    History of problem:

It all started after a night of kickboxing when I injured my left foot on my big toe joint(which caused the development of my bunion) and on the top of the foot. I have received the following treatments: Podiatrist, acupuncturist, massage therapists, physiotherapists, Traditional Chinese medicine doctors and taken many supplements. I have been doing strengthening exercises for a long time now which have helped the pain a little bit. I have gotten custom orthotics which was not made very well with very little analysis and was very rigid. The orthotics did not help and just hurt my foot and yes I used them for a while. My main area of pain are the Metatarsals(ball of foot) and Achilles tendon that will absolutely not go away with everything I've done. I'm tired of spending more money on this foot on treatments that aren't working. It's been over one year.

    My questions:

    1. A new Orthotics doctor I am seeing says I need orthotics. I've heard too many different opinions on whether they work or not. Would a well made orthotic actually solve the ROOT of my problem? I do not have any problem with my right foot and I know for sure my right foot would not need orthotics even though both my feet are flat.

    2. In anyone's experience, has orthotics significantly helped your foot pain? If yes or no please share your opinions and advice on orthotics.

    3. Any advice, recommendations, relatable stories you can share with me?

This has limited my body to do almost all of the kinds of exercises I loved oing and I believe there HAS to be a solution for this. Please someone help me! I'm getting very depressed everyday.
