Yesterday I was prescribed a pair of orthotics by a pediatrist that were to help prevent my feet pronating when weightlifting and deal with an out-toeing issue.

I took the orthotics out of my casual shoes to put them in my raised-heel weightlifting shoes when mid-way, I mixed them up and forgot which one goes in which foot.

Should the high side of an orthotic always face inwards (to support the arch), or is the high side sometimes on the outside of the foot?

I feel really stupid having to ask this, sorry, I just want to be 100% sure. There is no written indication on either sole as to which one goes in the left or right shoe.

I have attached photos of the orthotics and shoes
