My feet freeze at around 55 degrees. Winters are not comfortable for me anymore, particularly nights. Is there any product out there that can warm up my feet or keep them warm? Wool and those expensive socks don't work. I tried one of those feet warming packets (it comes in an orange foil packet) a couple of yrs ago, but couldn't tell if it worked. Plus, they aren't for bedtime - only meant for in shoes. The best the doc could say was, "Try warmer socks?" No, duh.

I've had some people tell me that they use a heating pad, or a hot water bottle, at the back of their knee. There is an artery that is close to the skin there and you can warm the blood going to your feet. This makes sense and should work if your arteries are open.

Okay, thanks! I'll see if warming up behind the knee works any better than what I do to my feet.
